"When Allah tests you, it is never intended to destroy you. When He removes something in your possession,
it is only in order to empty your hands for an even greater gift."
- Ibn Al-Qayyim (rahimahullah)

Say: O My servants who have transgressed against their own souls, despair not of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Surah az-Zumar 39:53)

Your friend's disappointment, Parent's disappointment, sibling's disappointment, etc. Is nothing compared to as Allah(swt) disappointment with you. So don't worry about their disappointment. People can put you down & they will. But Allah(swt) will not abandon you as long as you don't.(Brother Nouman Ali Khan-Don't Lose Hope)
