Aoawrwb. This thread has been started because a lot of people have been asking about how things work and suggesting ideas to further diversify and make this forum more fun and interesting. So if you've got any questions regarding how this forum functions, we'll all try to help you figure it out insha Allah. Also, any and all creative input is welcome This forum is pretty open and friendly, anybody can register and post what they think might be beneficial and inspiring for themselves and others, insha Allah. "You are the best of the nations raised up for (the benefit of) men; you enjoin Al-Ma'ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden) and believe in Allah; and if the followers of the Book had believed it would have been better for them; of them (some) are believers and most of them are transgressors."(3:110) Attachments:

Would Just Like to Mention:
It should be very clearly understood that the quotations given here, especially from the Quran and Hadith, are JUST a translation, an interpretation of the arabic- given for us who are not familiar with the language. They are in no way a substitute for the arabic.
What I'm trying to say is that Allah SWT said 'Alhumdulilah ir Rabb il Aalameen' and not 'All Praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds'.
The Arabic language is very vast and beautiful- and for those of us who do not know it- we cannot interpret fully and grasp completely its beauty, the little nuances of word usage and unmatchable style.
The language of the Quran is a miracle. Listening to the Quran has softened the hardest hearts, brought tears to the sternest of people, and made the most stubborn bow down in humility. It's message is so strong that even translated into another language- it affects us profoundly. But we have to realize and understand- The Quran is Arabic, not English, Urdu, Farsi or any other language.

aoawrwb
just would like you all to know that since this isn't a free forum, ads are showcased via proboards.
we are in no way supporting or propagating them.
Insha Allah will work on an alternative, so we can be rid of them.
till then, we pray u bear with us, and insha Allah contribute and derive benefit from the forum.
jazak Allah khair.

Aoawrwb all! I hope you are in the best of health. Recently, one of our members told me that they felt the forum had become very dormant- and there's a need to do something to bring more people, basically attract them in. Active participation is very much encouraged. And all of you are more than welcome to bring forth any new topic/discussion or give your views on the ones already present on the forum. If you feel that you are not comfortable with using your name, you can post as guest/anonymous- or PM me if you want a change in Display Name. Actually, the thing is- this forum doesn't compel any one to log in or register whether they are just visiting or posting. We've kept everything quite open- for insha Allah everyone to benefit. MIA gets around 10-20 visits a day- Even if no one posts, at least they're visiting and hopefully gaining something out of it. At the start of this endeavor, our hope was for people to benefit, build a platform, have someplace where we can share what we've learned or would like to.. to get in touch with and love who we are: Muslims. - and even if it were just the two of us (who started the forum) who were benefiting, I'd still be glad. Telling others means first telling ourselves. Reminding ourselves, right? At the outset, we too used to be a bit saddened at the lack of 'sign-ups', but then we were reminded of Prophet Nuh A.S. He lived for around a 1000 years, and less than 100 people followed him. Patience was surely the ruling power! And indeed We sent Nuh (Noah) to his people, and he stayed among them a thousand years less fifty years [inviting them to believe in the Oneness of Allah (Monotheism), and discard the false gods and other deities] (29:14)It is Allah SWT who guides, and if years from now- someone stumbles upon this website- dedicated to the Love of Allah SWT, Prophet Muhammad pbuh and the deen of Islam- then insha Allah, this'll be sadaqah- jariaah for us. May Allah SWT bring us to the straight path and keep us there! Ameen. MIA is about You. Its about Us. Its about Muslims In Action. Invite whoever you wish- friends, family, relatives, and those across the cyber world

Aoawrwb everyone : )
Just writing in to say- sorry about the 'birthdays' section in the info center. I have tried and tried to remove it but it just won't hide itself.
Please ignore and enjoy the forum.
As always , any suggestions/contributions/comments are welcome =)
