Everyone shall Taste Death
Say to (them): "If the home of the Hereafter with Allah is indeed for you specially and not for others, of mankind, then long for death if you are truthful."
(Baqarah: 94)
~*~
"Wheresoever you may be, death will overtake you even if you are in fortresses built up strong and high!"
(An-Nisa:78)
~*~
They indeed are losers who denied their Meeting with Allah , until all of a sudden, the Hour (signs of death) is on them, and they say: "Alas for us that we gave no thought to it," while they will bear their burdens on their backs; and evil indeed are the burdens that they will bear!
(Al-Anaam:31)
~*~
He is the Irresistible, Supreme over His slaves, and He sends guardians (angels guarding and writing all of one's good and bad deeds) over you , until when death approaches one of you, Our Messengers (angel of death and his assistants) take his soul, and they never neglect their duty. Then they are returned to Allah, their Maula [True Master (God), the Just Lord (to reward them)]. Surely, His is the judgement and He is the Swiftest in taking account.
(Al-Anaam:61-62)
~*~
Nay, when (the soul) reaches to the collar bone (i.e. up to the throat in its exit), And it will be said: "Who can cure him and save him from death?" And he (the dying person) will conclude that it was (the time) of departing (death); And leg will be joined with another leg (shrouded) The drive will be, on that Day, to your Lord (Allah)! So he (the disbeliever) neither believed (in this Qur'an, in the Message of Muhammad ) nor prayed! But on the contrary, he belied (this Qur'an and the Message of Muhammad ) and turned away! Then he walked in full pride to his family admiring himself! Woe to you [O man (disbeliever)]! And then (again) woe to you! Again, woe to you [O man (disbeliever)]! And then (again) woe to you! Does man think that he will be left Suda [neglected without being punished or rewarded for the obligatory duties enjoined by his Lord (Allah) on him]?
(Al-Qiyaamah, 26-36)
~*~
Everyone shall taste the death. Then unto Us you shall be returned.
(Ankabut:57)
~*~
And the stupor of death will come in truth: "This is what you have been avoiding!" And the Trumpet will be blown, that will be the Day whereof warning (had been given) (i.e. the Day of Resurrection). And every person will come forth along with an (angel) to drive (him), and an (angel) to bear witness. (It will be said to the sinners): "Indeed you were heedless of this, now We have removed your covering, and sharp is your sight this Day!" And his companion (angel) will say: "Here is (this Record) ready with me!
(Qaf:19-23)
