We all get stressed. About small & big things. About our jobs, families, personal situations. We all deal with stress differently.
When I’m stressed I close my eyes & silently say “La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammadar Rasul Allah” with such conviction like nothing else matters in the whole wide world & the stress for that moment simply goes away.
This really works for me & I wanted to share it with you guys. Try it out =)

Do you remember the last time you felt sad? Maybe you didn’t get into the school or university you were hoping for? Maybe you feel misunderstood? Maybe you are trying to cope with the loss of a loved one?
Our hardships and trials remind us that everything belongs to Allah. Our friends, family, money, health, safety and financial stability, these are all gifts from Allah. When we forget that they don’t belong to us, we begin to develop an attachment to the gifts and forget about the Giver of the gift. As a result, we depend on the creation rather than the Creator. So Allah tests us in order to give us what is truly priceless; nearness to Him.
Just like heat is used to remove the impurities of the gold, hardships purify our hearts. They bring us even closer to Our Lord and remind us that we are weak and in need of His Mercy and Aid.
Imagine being one of the select people on the Day of Judgment who Allah gives glad tidings and prayers to. Who is entitled to such an honour?
" We will test you with something of fear, and hunger and loss of wealth, and souls and vegetation. And give glad tidings to those who have patience. Those who if in any difficulty or trial, or tribulation occurs to them or happens to them, they say: 'Verily We are from Allah and to Allah we return.' They are those who will receive prayers from their Lord and Mercy and it is those who are guided. " [Surah Al-Baqarah]
The Prophet (Sal Allaahu 'Alaihi Wasallam) tells us that this reward is reserved for those on the Day of Judgment who patiently responded to hardships by saying 'Inna lillahi wa ina illayhi raji'oon ’. This supplication translates to “Verily, unto God do we belong and, verily, unto Him we shall return”.
We often use this statement only when we hear of death. However, in reality, this applies to everything that we lose in life, because everything belongs to Him.
The Prophet Muhammad (Sal Allaahu 'Alaihi Wasallam) and his companions endured the most difficult tests; so don’t think that Allah is testing you because you are a bad person.
Allah tests everyone in different ways and He knows exactly what each of us can handle. Whenever you feel that you cannot cope with your sadness, pain, sorrow and heartache, remember that Allah only tests us with what we can bear. Allah (Subhaanahu Wa Ta’ala) said what means: “Allah does not burden a soul more than it can bear.” [Surah Al-Baqarah]
In sha Allah like anything else in this life, your struggle is temporary and it will certainly come to an end.
